  • What is Double Drive Time?
    Double Drive Time (DDT) is a regulation mandated by California state law for all licensed moving companies. For example, if the driving time from the origin to the destination is 30 minutes, the total billable drive time under the DDT regulation will be 60 minutes. This ensures fair compensation for movers while maintaining transparency in billing for customers.
